After not having uploaded/drawn/finished anything that wasn’t an AP Art assignment, I finally sat down yesterday and drew this real quick to try to get rid of my art/creative block. So yup. Mission accomplished, I suppose. Next mission: get inspired (Like a sim, oh ho ho ho).

A photo of my beginning stages of planning out Stocking.
I always start by breaking an outfit down. Then I work on using math (geometry) to decide how to cut the pieces out and stuff. I actually really enjoy this part because that’s half the fun of making cosplays! If I don’t do this before I start a costume, it always comes out all wonky and wrong, it’s as if this helps me center myself and give direction.
Also I never use pre-made patterns because I am too lazy to cut them out. I have some in my closet, I just never use them. :/ So generally I just kinda pattern my own stuff out…
